Cookie Policy
What the Kervo AI website collects, which tools do it, where the data is stored, and how to change your choice.
In India, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, nothing beyond essential runs until you agree.
Consent records and analytics data are stored in India.
Accept and Reject are offered side by side.
Cookie settings is linked at the bottom of every page.
1. What this policy covers
This policy covers cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and tracking pixels) used on the Kervo AI website at kervo.ai. The Kervo AI platform has its own session and security cookies, described in Section 3.
2. How consent works
When you first visit, a banner asks which kinds of data collection you allow. What you see depends on where you are:
- India, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland: nothing beyond strictly necessary runs until you choose. Accept and Reject are offered side by side, or you can choose by category.
- Other countries: analytics run by default and the banner lets you opt out. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser is treated as an opt-out.
Your choice, the date and time, the policy version shown to you, your browser type and a masked IP address (last part removed) are recorded so we can show consent was given. These records are stored in India. In India and the EEA you are asked again after 12 and 6 months respectively.
You can change or withdraw consent at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent, and it stops the related tools straight away.
3. Strictly necessary
Always on, because the site cannot work without them:
- Consent record: remembers your choice so you are not asked on every page.
- Vercel Web Analytics: counts page views in aggregate without cookies or local storage. Visitors are distinguished by a hash of the request that Vercel discards after 24 hours, and no personal profile is built. Addresses that could contain personal details (such as a name in a page address) are removed before anything is sent.
- Platform cookies: on the Kervo AI platform only, session and security cookies that keep you signed in and protect against forged requests.
4. Analytics (with your consent)
Our own visitor log, stored in our database in India (AWS Mumbai). It records:
- the pages you view, when, for how long and how far you scroll
- how you reached us: the referring site, search engine, or ad campaign tags in the link
- your approximate location (country, region and city) from your IP address, and your browser language
- device type, browser and operating system
- the organisation that owns the network you browse from, found by sending your IP address once to IPinfo. This is usually your employer on a corporate network, or your internet provider at home.
We never store your IP address. Your browser keeps two random identifiers: "kervo_vid" in local storage, which recognises your browser on later visits, and "kervo_sid" in session storage, which groups one visit. Both are deleted if you withdraw analytics consent.
If you send us a form or book a meeting after allowing analytics, your earlier visits are linked to the name, email and company you give us, so our team can see what you read before contacting us. Our sales team receives a summary of each visit by email, through our Microsoft 365 business email. Records of visitors who never contact us are deleted after 13 months. To have your record deleted, email support@clouddfn.com.
Google Analytics is not currently used. If we enable it, it will appear here and will run only with your analytics consent.
5. Marketing (with your consent)
- Google Ads tag: measures which Google ads lead to visits and demo requests, and lets us show ads to people who have visited. Data is shared with Google, which may process it outside India.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag: measures which LinkedIn ads lead to visits and demo requests, shows aggregated, de-identified insights about visiting companies and job functions, and lets us show ads to people who have visited. Data is shared with LinkedIn, which may process it outside India.
These tags load only after you allow marketing, and stop loading if you withdraw consent.
6. Embedded services (with your consent)
The booking calendar on our contact page is provided by Calendly, which sets its own cookies. It loads only if you allow embedded services. You can always open the calendar in a new tab on Calendly's site instead.
7. Managing your choice
Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change or withdraw consent. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Rejecting analytics, marketing or embedded services does not stop you using the website.
8. Changes
When we add a tool or change what one collects, we update this page and ask for your consent again where the change requires it.
9. Contact and grievances
Questions, requests or grievances about cookies or your data: support@clouddfn.com. We respond within the time limits that apply to you under the DPDPA or the GDPR.
